The company is growing, the stock keeps arriving and there is nowhere left to stand in the office. Or you are moving and the contents of a whole flat need a home for a while. That is when people search for warehouse space for rent in Bratislava, and run into two very different things.
We will say plainly which of the two we are, what sizes are free today, what they cost, and what to check before the first pallet arrives.
Two different things under one name
"Warehouse space" in Slovakia is sold in two shapes. The first is a logistics hall: a loading ramp, a forklift, staff who receive the goods, store them and hand them out, a contract for years and a floor area starting in the hundreds of square metres. The second is self-service storage: a locked unit only the tenant has a key to, visited by the tenant alone and paid for monthly.
We are the second. There is no office and no staff at our sites, no ramp and no forklift, and nobody will take delivery for you. In exchange you can start today, with no terms to negotiate, and stop in a month. Which types and sizes we rent is set out under unit types and sizes.
What sizes are free today
On 14 September 2026 the network has 65 free units from 0.99 to 14.4 m², 17 of them seven square metres or larger. The biggest unit we offer is 28.8 m² and it is taken today.
- 7.2 m² (18.72 m³): 3.00 × 2.40 m, 2.60 m high. By our own size guide this takes the contents of a two-room flat, palletised goods, office furniture or a company archive.
- 14.4 m² (37.44 m³): 6.00 × 2.40 m, 2.60 m high. A three-room flat, building material, dozens of pallets or the fittings of a small shop.
The 2.60 m of height is what turns a small footprint into real storage: goods go on shelves and stack, instead of spreading across the floor. If less than 7 m² would do, the smaller units are measured out in storage container rental.
Doors and access decide more than floor area
This is the part most people discover on site. The area can be identical, yet a unit with a 0.80 × 2.00 m door and a unit with double doors of 2.25 × 2.30 m are two different places once a pallet or a sofa turns up.
The floor matters just as much. A ground-floor unit means you reverse the van to the door, and some sites take a truck up to 12 m long. A first-floor unit is reached by stairs and costs less, but everything goes up in your hands.
How it looks today: the free seven-metre units at Gessayova, Kaukazská and Dúbravka are on the first floor with 0.80 × 2.00 m doors. The only larger ground-floor unit with double doors is P36 at Pionierska, 14.4 m² and 37.44 m³, 6.00 × 2.40 m, door 2.25 × 2.30 m. Nitra is the other way round: the free 7.2 m² units there are on the ground with the same double doors.
What it costs on 14 September 2026
Prices move daily with how full a location is, so this is today's snapshot and the live figure is always in the storage price list. Monthly rate for a term of 1 / 3 / 6 / 9 / 12 months:
- G26, 7.2 m² at Gessayova, first floor: 107 / 102 / 97 / 91 / 86 €. A year comes to 1 032 €.
- P36, 14.4 m² at Pionierska, ground floor with drive-up: 173 / 161 / 149 / 143 / 136 €. A year comes to 1 632 €.
- N41, 7.2 m² in Nitra, ground floor with double doors: 85 / 80 / 75 / 69 / 64 €. A year comes to 768 €.
The gap between the rates is not cosmetic: renting the seven-metre unit at Gessayova month by month costs 1 284 € a year instead of 1 032 €, so 252 € more for the same space. On top of the rent there is a deposit of one month, returned within 5 working days after the unit is handed back. What drives the price at these same sizes is worked through in storage for an e-shop.
What the rent includes and what it does not
Insurance up to 2 000 € is included (theft, robbery, fire, natural disaster, vandalism); higher cover costs 4.50 € a month up to 5 000 €, 7.50 € up to 7 000 € and 12 € up to 10 000 €. Access is 24/7 every day of the year: the gate opens on a call from a registered number and nine more numbers can be added in the account, so a colleague or a driver can go instead of you. You lock the unit with your own padlock and hold the only key. Every payment carries an invoice with IČO and DIČ in the account, and a company is found by name in the business register.
What is not included and cannot be ordered: staff to receive goods, a ramp, a forklift and pallet handling. Transport can be requested through a paid partner and is paid directly to them. The usual mistakes
- Choosing by area instead of by the door. A pallet will not pass a 0.80 m door, however large the unit behind it is.
- Leaving the floor question to the end. If goods move in and out regularly, the stairs cost more time than the cheaper rate saves.
- Area without height. Without shelving you use barely a metre of the 2.60 m and pay for the air above it.
- Renewing monthly for a long need. On the 7.2 m² unit at Gessayova that is 252 € a year on top.
- Expecting somebody to take delivery. There are no staff at the sites; one of your own people has to meet the van.
When our space is not the right answer
- You need more than 14.4 m² today. A larger unit exists but is taken: either wait for it, or take two smaller units side by side.
- Pallets arrive regularly. Then the cheaper first floor is false economy; take a ground-floor unit with double doors, today P36 at Pionierska or the units in Nitra.
- You are storing paper and documents. A container is unheated; take an indoor unit at Holíčska or Tomášikova.

How to go about it
- List what is going in and measure the largest item: the door follows from it, not the floor area.
- Decide how often goods will move. For regular deliveries look for a ground-floor unit you can drive up to.
- In the price list pick a size from 7 m², and on the location page filter for car access to the unit itself.
- Check the unit page for dimensions, volume and the door: a pallet needs the double doors of 2.25 × 2.30 m.
- Choose the term. For anything longer than six months, twelve months saves hundreds of euros.
- Enter the company details, which are found by name in the business register, and a phone number in +421 format: that number opens the gate.
- Pay by card, bank transfer or QR payment. The contract starts with the first payment, access details arrive at once, and the whole thing takes about 10 minutes.
- Add your colleagues' numbers in the account and buy the shelving before the goods arrive.
