How Much Does Storage Cost in Bratislava: Real Prices | TOP SKLAD
Storage prices in Bratislava read on 4 September 2026: an indoor unit of 0.99 m² from 29 € and a container of 3.6 m² from 49 € a month, plus deposit and insurance.
ReadYour lease ends on the 31st and the new flat in Petržalka is free only from the 20th. Or you fly home for six weeks, or your shipment lands before the flat does. That is when people look for short-term storage rental in Bratislava: a locked space for a month or two, without a year-long contract.
Here is what "short term" means here, what a month costs against a year, how the deposit comes back, and when it is the wrong call.
We rent from one month, nothing shorter. On the unit page you pick 1, 3, 6, 9 or 12 months, or "exactly to a date" if you know the handover day.
The contract is fixed-term and ends by itself: no notice, nothing to sign again. You either extend it in your client account or empty the unit by the last paid day. It all runs in English: the order form, the contract, the invoices, support. Details: answers about the deposit and ending a rental.
Price follows location, unit type, floor, size, occupancy and term. Rates move daily; the figures below are from 4 September 2026, and the exact sum appears before you confirm.
Plainly: the short rate is the highest we have, about a third above the yearly rate indoors and more than half above it on a container. Over one or two months that is small money; over six it is not. The list starts at 25 €; the arithmetic is in how much a storage unit costs in Bratislava.
The first payment also carries a deposit, kaucia in Slovak, of one month's rent: for H50B that is 76 € off your card, 38 € rent and 38 € deposit. It is charged once per rental, never on renewal, and returns to the same card within 5 working days of a proper handover, up to 10 by bank.
Insurance up to 2 000 € is included: theft, robbery, fire, natural disaster, vandalism. More cover costs 4.50 € a month up to 5 000 €, 7.50 € up to 7 000 €, 12 € up to 10 000 €.
The last paid day is the handover day: by 17:00 the unit empty, padlock off, three photos in the account (two inside, one outside) and the return form sent.
Skip that and we clear the unit within 3 days. No penalty, but the deposit is gone: not showing up costs a second month of rent.
The opposite case: six months booked, builders done in three and a half. Outside the statutory 14-day withdrawal consumers have, the time used is recalculated at the tariff of the term actually used, minus the last 14 days.
Our own FAQ example: six months booked, 3.5 used, recalculated at the 3-month tariff. On D53 that tariff is 70 € against 65 € for six months, so the recalculation is dearer per month than what you signed. With an unknown end date, start with one month.
Seven self-service sites: containers in Dúbravka (Polianky 15), Petržalka (Gessayova 3, Kaukazská 2), Nové Mesto (Pionierska) and Nitra (Bratislavská 15); indoor units at Holíčska 7 and Tomášikova 50D. Holíčska is tram 3 to Pajštúnska plus 230 m on foot. Of 527 units, 64 were free on 4 September 2026, at 38 € to 173 € a month on the one-month rate; the live list is the catalogue of units free right now.
One month minimum, deposit of one month, insurance up to 2 000 €, access 24/7, cameras, fenced grounds, a free padlock. What we do not do: no removals, no van, no packing, no staff on site, containers unheated, and we are not the cheapest. The model itself is in self storage in Bratislava explained; support runs through the account form or info@top-sklad.com, answered within 5 working days.
On 4 September 2026 the free units ran from 38 € (indoor, 0.99 m²) to 173 €, on the one-month rate; a 3.6 m² container in Dúbravka is 76 €. Plus the one-month deposit, once.
No, one month is the minimum and a week is billed as a month: 38 € for the smallest indoor unit. If you need it until one particular day, pick "exactly to a date".
Within 5 working days of the handover: unit empty by 17:00 of the last paid day, padlock off, three photos and the return form in the account. It returns to the card you paid from; some banks take 10 working days.
Yes, in the account: pick a new period and it starts the day after the last paid day, with no second deposit. The price is shown before payment and can differ from the first month.
No. The order, the contract, the documents and support are in English, and there is nobody to speak to on site anyway: the gate answers a call from your number. Three Slovak words help: kaucia is the deposit, kobka an indoor unit, areál the site.
