Insurance Terms & Conditions

Upon concluding a warehouse lease agreement, TOP SKLAD provides the Client (Tenant) with automatic free insurance for stored items with a coverage limit of up to 2,000 EUR.

Extended Coverage Conditions and Limits

1. Value and Load Limits: The Tenant is not entitled to store items or goods in the unit with a total value exceeding the agreed (provided or purchased) insurance coverage. Furthermore, it is strictly prohibited to exceed the maximum permissible floor load, which is set at 500 kg/m². To store goods of higher value, the Tenant must obtain appropriate extended insurance coverage directly from the Landlord or provide proof of adequate third-party insurance.
2. Scope of Liability: Provided the Tenant complies with the conditions set out in point 1 and uses the premises solely for storage purposes, the Landlord assumes liability for the stored items only up to the limit of the accepted or proven insurance coverage (basic or extended). The Landlord is not liable for damages exceeding the agreed coverage limit.
3. Increasing Coverage: The Tenant may opt for a higher insurance coverage amount (extended insurance) via the online reservation form on the website or by signing an addendum to the existing lease agreement. The Tenant also has the right to obtain additional insurance for stored goods from a third-party insurer.
4. Third-Party Insurance: If the Tenant holds an insurance policy with higher coverage from a third-party insurer, they must send written confirmation of the policy and the coverage amount to the Landlord (by e-mail or letter). This confirmation is required to authorize the storage of higher-value goods. The Landlord reserves the right to refuse the storage of goods exceeding standard value or weight limits if insurance coverage is not properly proven or if the goods do not comply with warehouse safety standards.
